The old one was pretty good, but the new onnw wasn't really that good, they spent too much time on special effects and I found it kinda boring, and the 3D was terrible! (but I think that was the 3D glasses I wore,) but some people have different opinions, so If you wanna see it, see it, if you don't, don't.

lol i watched that on sky horror and it was reallly bad. they used the same cgi throughout the whole movie.
